PEFC Award – “Forestry Origin Product Category”

PEFC Italia is the association that promotes the PEFC standard, internationally recognized for the sustainable management of forests and forest products. PEFC Italia awarded Tabu the Award for the “Forestry Origin Product 2024” during the Ecomondo Fair in Rimini. TABU has been certified since 2024 and guarantees PEFC certified woods.

Tabu has achieved PEFC certification for its production of veneers, multilaminars, flooring, paneling and more, with trees including spruce, white fir, maple, birch, cherry, douglas, elm, ash, larch, walnut and lime all sourced from controlled sources. In particular, the award-winning product is a natural wood veneer made with ash from northern Italy.

Thanks to PEFC Italy and Legambiente for the “Forestry Origin Product Category” award. This award represents recognition and a further step towards the commitment and dedication in our journey, aimed at enhancing good land and forest management practices.
