Today, Monday 9 October, at Casa TABU in Via Melone, 2 – Milano Brera, the exhibition entitled “Merletti and Design” begins, which takes place as part of the 16th edition of the Biennale Internazionale del Merletto, organized by the Promotion Committee of Merletto di Cantù. The latter is one of the most prestigious and awaited events by enthusiasts and connoisseurs of this ancient art.
TABU, based in Cantù, historic producer of natural and multilaminar wood veneers since 1927, inaugurated Casa TABU in 2022, an elegant residence where the best of its production is exhibited. A space dedicated to beauty, to the pleasure of designing with wood, but which at the same time becomes an art exhibition space, welcoming the narration through dedicated works of the evolution of this noble Cantù tradition, which is effectively intertwined with timeline of the world of design and the history of the territory from which it comes. It will be possible to visit the “Merletti e Design” exhibition from Monday to Friday during the opening hours of Casa Tabu. The exhibition will then end on October 23d.
